The stallion snorted before agreeing with her sentiment about the gods. Maybe he didn't have the same belief system as her parents did and they would probably gasp at the way he spoke of Allah, but what should she care when for the most part, she thought the same way? When she spoke of the land, she could see the pride glittering in his eyes and it did much to light up his handsome features. Corona found herself smirking as she followed his gaze around the golden sands that surrounded them. It truly was a beautiful place. Her next question wasn't much more than a taunt meant to either spur him to action or prove that he wasn't up for the dare in which case she probably would have excused herself to find someone more willing. Instead he surprised her by jumping up and racing out of the water. Laughter burst from her chest as the mare jerked her head out of the way of dancing water drops that splashed from his legs toward her. Snorting, she tossed her head and spun around on her haunches to follow, spraying sand as she tore off across the dunes after him. The Akhal Teke had height and leg length on her but she wasn't known for being slow herself. Flattening her ears to her skull, she dug in her tiny hooves, digging through the surface of the sand as she raced after him. Pretty soon, she found herself at his flanks. With a grin and a twinkle in her eyes, she squealed for all the world to hear and threw out her back legs in a kick, aimed away from him, just in a way to show her true joy in the run. Tossing her head again, she snorted and pushed herself even harder, racing at his shoulder soon enough. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, wondering if he had any competitive spirit to him or if he was simply in it for the feel of the wind in his mane. One way to find out. Surging once more, she felt the heat in her chest as she pushed even hard, sticking her nose out ahead of his.
