6th Annual Plainville Wood Bat Challenge
Saturday October 31st
Norton Park/Paderewski Park,Plainville,CT
8 teams Max @ $250 Entry Fee
3GG, two bracket games into single elim.
Winners of each bracket meet up to play at Norton Park, 3:30pm Final
$700 Cash to the Winner!
Rules:
-Wood Bat
-1 Pitch, no fakes, plate and mat are strikes,6-10 foot arc
-1 Courtesy Runner Per inning
-Run Rule-20,12,10
-Goon Squad Rule (Runner must touch home plate, not the mat)
-Challenge Flag rule: Each team will be issued a red challenge flag, you may use the challenge flag once a game to redo an at bat! Flag CANNOT be thrown during composite at bat! Manager must throw the flag onto the field for the umpire to pick up.
-Composite Bat Rule: Each team can use a composite bat once a game. However if the batter hits a homerun over the fence you may use it again at any time. Inside the park doesnt count. If the batter walks during composite at bat you may use it again at anytime and it doesn’t have to be passed to the next batter. No challenge flag allowed during composite at bat!
