Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

-THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES

-there is no honor among thieves

He never strays far from Varanduil, but when he does usually he is doing something bad. Cullen has gotten himself into deep trouble yet again, but this was nothing new. His recovery from the war and his loneliness from losing his brothers had slowed him down immensely. Cullen was finally coming back from the shadows. He was becoming himself again, but this time rage and vengeance were often in his mind. The Peak needed to pay, Bjorn needed to pay, and leading mares needed put in their place. He didn't expect to find someone like Varanduil in all this mess. He didn't even feel this connection to his own children yet alone the white Arabian who used to tug at his heart.

Now she didn't belong to him nor did their children. She ran off his the mystery child in her womb and he would never forgive her. Just like the rest of the female race, she did things only for her own personal gain. She didn't care about his feelings after fighting him to let her stay. Her loss. Lili was no linger his problem, but Varanduil was. Blue eyes glance to the sooty palomino as they walk. It was time he gave him a warning of what might come in the future. "I have something important to say." He stops and turns to face his companion. "As you know, I have many enemies. One has recently threatened harm on myself and my Lagoon. It is because of this threat that I want you to leave. Hide away in the meadow or falls where no one can find you."

No other bachelor would be getting the warning Varanduil did. Not even Nagendra. He did not care for them the way he cared for his Varanduil. "I cannot lose you to the enemy." His hoof stomps with anger. It was hard to admit, but he has lost everything before. He may have defeated enemies in the past, and won majority of his recent fights, but it only took one bad day for him to lose everything again. Just like the day Bozena challenged and he was unable to answer. It might not have lost his brothers if he hadn't gotten so injured in the war. Ruger...

"When the threat has ended I need you to come back and become my own personal trinket. You are mine and mine alone." His hoof stomps again with serious blue eyes staring into the brown voids of Varanduil. "It is time we take our relationship to the next level. Let us raise a child together." He never blinks as he watches Vara's reaction. His head tosses and his body turns away from him. Cullen begins a brisk walk towards an unfamiliar scent in his home. He beckons Vara to follow as he continues to speak to his golden trinket along the way. "We could raise a son to one day take over this Lagoon or a daughter to infiltrate the enemy lines and become our special spy."

He does not ask what Varanduil thinks of all this. Cullen speaks as if this is what was going to happen whether he liked it or not. He would not be taking no for an answer though he doubted his dirty palomino trinket would have the guts to say no anyway. "We just need to find a vessel to carry our child and figure out which one of us will do the planting. I suggest you, Varanduil." He glances at the stallion before setting his sights on the young bay splash mare they closed in on. "I have already spawned enough of my own blood and our child deserves to have your handsome face." He nickers to the mare right after speaking. He brings Varanduil closer to her and stops only steps away.

Oddly, Cullen puts on a friendly smile. "Hello are you looking for someone?" His smile soon faded into a frown. He glances at his companion with sad eyes before looking back to the mare with a deep sigh. "I'm sorry we are not in the best spirits today." Would this mare fall into the trap he waa delicately placing? Would Varanduil go along with all this?
