He had so much more room to explore now! The colt knew he wasn't going to miss Atlantis too much. Sure, the jungle was fun to play and hide in and the other colts were fun to harass and trick but now he would have new victims. His parents weren't happy on the island anyway. Sure, they were happy around each other, but he didn't see them talk to the other herd members much. Not that he minded where they went. Soon enough, he would be on his own and able to make his own decisions. Until then, his parents still wanted to keep some kind of eye on him so when they decided to leave Paradise, he had to go with. Oh well. The champagne colt rolled his eyes as he trotted along the fields of the meadow. There wasn't as many trees here for him to hide in and get out of sight of his parents but he would make due. After all, they didn't always feel like running! Tossing his head, he tore off across the meadow, hearing the groan of his father and he knew he wouldn't get chased down any time soon.
Chuckling to himself, he slowed up only when he felt he put enough distance between them for the moment. His parents would come after him soon enough, but until then, he needed to see what kind of trouble he could get into here. Looking around, he soon found an unsuspecting mare grazing. Sneaking up from behind, he lunged in from the side and yanked on her tail with his teeth. He barely dodged the kick she threw his way but laughed as he danced away and out of reach of her angry teeth. She snorted and went back to grazing, but she wasn't about to be fooled a second time, her ear following him as he trotted off in another direction, knowing he wouldn't be able to get away unscathed next time. His vivid green eyes scanned the meadow, looking for another unsuspecting victim.
