"Psst....hey. Hey you! Wake up!" An unfamiliar voice rouses you from your slumber. An unexpected weight rests upon your chest as you shake the sleep from your eyes. When you peer down, you find yourself face to face with a...Jack-o-lantern?
Before you can even begin to comprehend the situation, you realize that his mouth is moving and he is the one speaking to you.
"It's spooky season, my friend, and you have been graced with the presence of me! The pumpkin king (self proclaimed, but let's not focus on that)." His carved mouth returns to a wide grin before he rolls off your chest, righting himself beside you on the bed. "I've picked you to be my trusty sidekick this Halloween. What do you say we go on an adventure?"
As you peer down at the glowing grin, you find yourself unable to say no to the pull of a spooky adventure.
Come one, come all! It's time to celebrate the spookiest part of the year!
It's October which means it's spooky season here on Shaman! Starting October 1st, one of your characters (you can choose) has been visited by a talking Jack-o-lantern who is calling himself the pumpkin king! He has invited you on an adventure that is sure to be full of spookiness and fun! Will you accompany him?
If you choose to go on an adventure, please tag your post with "pumpkin king" somewhere in the title. We ask that you please write at least one post of 600 words to qualify for the prize, but feel free to write as many words as your creepy heart desires! You are free to choose your own adventure with the pumpkin king, but if you need a helping hand, reach out to Renny and she can provide you with an adventure prompt!
Complete this event and you will receive a special prize: the pumpkin king himself! He is a fun loving, spooky companion who comes to life during the fall seasons. During this time, he can talk and move by rolling or bouncing. Just be careful not to let him get smashed! (He reverts back to a normal pumpkin during the off seasons, but at least he never withers!)
