She smiles as he laughs and says he was familiar with boredom. She guessed that meant the Badlands were not a fun place to go, a check off her list of places to visit. The list was short right now since she has never left the main island, but she waned to find something out of her normal way of life. She listens closely as he explains his home were on another island called Salem. He mentions it wasn’t far which perks her interest, but she quickly remembers how he talked of boredom. Though there was this look in his eye that sprung up when he talked of his home’s landscape.
”You almost had me convinced you come from a boring home, but now I see you like your home. So, what is it that makes you feel so bored? No one to talk to?” Her dark head tilts to the side as she waits to hear his answer. After he speaks, the conversation soon changes to her own home. He naively asks if she was from one of those ‘girly’ clubs. “I guess you could say that,” she giggles before continuing her speech. ”The Peak is a series of mountains run by mares, but stallions can still live there. Some are living there now, but most don’t accept mares holding all the power.” She eyes him curiously as if she was trying to figure out what kind of stallion he was. Was Kamakaze like the majority or did he see no problem with a female in power? Did he respect females or only use them for his own gain?
The world still had much to teach her, but her mother had done well to warn her about strange stallions. ”I have never been anywhere else on the islands so if you’re bored and I am bored why don’t we take a tour of the islands? Or maybe you could show me your island of sand.”
