He was always clashing with others on many different levels so it was no strange thing that has had some new bumps or scratches. This time it was a bit more than that since he took on two strong mares of the Peak, but his old friend did not know this. He didn’t exactly need Collision to know he had just come from the Peak where he attempted to steal a mare he did not know and her young children. He knew his friend was softer to the female gender, but they also had history. There was a chance he could forgive his actions under the circumstances of why he did it, but there was also a chance of the lather.

Cullen still remembers the first day he met the painted stallion some years ago. It was in this very meadow around some patch of dirt he found the stallion rolling in. It was funny to think of the scenario now. Cullen has tried so hard to get into Collision’s favor so that they may become bothers. His mission had been successful and Collision had been a loyal friend despite their differences in opinion. He even decided to be at his side in the war. Cullen felt horrible that this stallion was taken away from him and had to waste a year of his life as a slave to the Peak. There was no telling what they’ve done to his mind!

He could tell something was on his friend’s mind even before he spoke. He answers Cullen in a distracted way which makes his eyes narrow. The Peak has brain washed him…Cullen was now suspicious to how this reunion might go. His ears perk forward as Collision responds to his question of Verrat. Lowing low, huh? A sigh leaves his lips, but he barely had time to worry any further over his son before Collision was speaking again. That suspicious feeling quickly came back at his question. Cullen stares locked in the painted stallion’s gaze as he searches for the right answer.

Would the truth be best? Should he lie? Cullen was never usually one to tell a lie unless he was trying to deceive the horse he was talking to. This stallion was an old friend, a brother. ”I was just there hours ago actually. I had a new student I was teaching and figured getting back at the Peak would be a perfect start to his lesson. I have decided it is time I do things to get my brothers back home. Get you back home.” Blue eyes never leave the eyes of his brother as he speaks. There was no lie in his voice, but he still didn’t feel great about his answer. Why was this?
