The swans at Tiny Marsh that have raised families this year are Trumpeter Swans. There were three different families nesting in the marsh. They move out to deeper water in the winter and leave Tiny Marsh. They congregate in large flocks at areas with open water during the winter like Port Severn, Washago and the Narrows at Orillia.
