Parrot Lily (aka Fool’s Echo)
Not actually a lily at all, but the wide, cone shaped flower of an unassuming shrub found in any deciduous climate on Shaman, this flower is unique for its patterns of memory. Normally peach or orange tipped with a blush red, the blossom of this shrub, when spoken to, will remember and recite back to the speaker the last 3 to 5 words it hears. This makes it very valuable in situations of war, where passwords or battle plans need to be sent along discreetly, as the flower can be trained by someone with the proper magic (most likely plant manipulation), to only repeat itself to specific fairies or familiars.
It is also used as a romantic gesture between lovers, as the voice of whoever leaves the message is what the Parrot Lily imitates. Leaving love notes by flower is considered one of the sweetest forms of courting in Shaman.
