Rougaru steps back and she feels the glorious power the rushes through her veins. He had never backed down from her before even when he was in the wrong. He always defended himself, but this time he took a step back. He must have saw his grim future flash in her eyes. The things she wished would happen to him right now…it might be best she leaves this situation. He speaks as if he doesn’t care, but she knows he does. Somewhere deep down he still cares or why would he name another child after their own?

She should have left it at that, but she couldn’t. She continues to poke the beast of Atlantis and he was reaching the breaking point. She did not expect the lunge, but she should have seen it coming. Himena quickly steps back the closer he got; her tail clamped tightly between her legs. Her head tosses back as she swallows the squeal that almost made her fear more real. Her eyes narrow at his threat. He did have one good point though. Why did she keep coming back? She snorts with a shake of her muzzle. ”Then I guess I’ll be going then, but know this. I come back to show you what your missing out on. You may be too angry right now, but one of these days when your alone in the dark my face will appear. You should have treated me better.” Her eyes narrow before calling to her daughter to come.

Bathsheba foolishly felt no fear for the colt, or anyone really. This colt might not be anything right now, but one day he may be a fearsome opponent of hers or her family. For now, she didn’t care about any of that. Even with her mother making a fool of herself behind her, the filly still acts proudly. She would not allow her mother’s misdeeds to be reflected on her own character. The older colt answers her question smugly to which she snorts in response. Seems this boy had some things to learn about talking to a lady. Just like her mother was currently giving his father an ear full, she could do the same. Lucky for him she wasn’t in the mood for yelling. Her mother had taken that spunk out of her.

”Annubis huh?” She says, but her gaze quickly goes to the bickering parents behind her. Annubis seems interested in what was going on so she turns to look only to see his father lunging towards her mother. Without thinking, she growls as if she could do anything to help her mother. She sighs, seeing the situation doesn’t result in a fight, but instead the colt making a comment about her mother. Her eyes roll. ”That she does.” Himena then calls Bathsheba to her. ”Guess I gotta go now. Nice to meet you Annubis.” The filly flashes the older colt a grin before following her mother away from Rougaru and his son.
