Meadow

It was strange to find the filly suddenly speechless when he complimented her. He remembered her being quite restless and talkative when they met as youngsters so why the sudden shyness? It seemed so unlike her. At least he was able to make her laugh when he pretended to be insulted. She teased him right back and he gasped and jerked his head, twisting around to look at his own wide torso as he poked his nose toward his ribs. "They're called rib bones and they're quite large, I'll have you know." When she mentioned pregnant mares, he laughed out loud, unable to help it. His brows furrowed as if glaring at her but no one could miss the twinkle of humor in his golden eyes. "Perhaps I'm pregnant. Rude of you not to think of that."

When he mentioned a challenge though, he could see her growing excited and he grinned, his hooves dancing beneath him as he got eager himself. She nudged her head toward the other side of the meadow then, saying he couldn't beat her and he snorted with a roll of his eyes. "My eyes are quite big as well, you know. I see the tree." He said with a smirk. Then she gave the cue and he couldn't help but hesitate as she launched away from him, grinning as he watched her laugh and take off away from him. It was indeed a sight to see. Just knowing he'd made her happy was enough for the moment, but he knew he needed to make a show of it so with a toss of his head and some laughter of his own, the colt bolted after her. He found himself gaining ground and smirked as he reached her hip. Reaching out, he tried to nip at her playfully. "Tree's getting closer..." He taunted.
