~ never ever mistake her silence for weakness,

This land is starkly different compared to that of Maghrib. In her observance - many of different cultures and beliefs migrate here. There is a sense of freedom that gives life to her soul and calms the worry that plagues her on those dark nights beneath the watchful eye of the heavens. She has at times felt loneliness creep into her bosom as she thinks on all of those who she had left behind, yes, even her husband. Even though his abuse haunts her dreams and the fear still grips her soul, he was familiar.

She has grown quite fond the other woman she now spends most of her days with. Ayyuce as she introduced herself, also came from a land much like her own. They speak quietly amongst the reeds and beneath the shadows of the fig trees that line the shores of the oasis. A smile touches her lips as she listens to Ayuuce speak of the kindness of Adlebaran and how he had rescued her when she was at her darkest.

"That is beautiful," she breathes "How Allah smiles down on you."

The dull pound of hooves against the sands draws Dhaniyā's attention from the woman at her side and immediately she finds Alderbaran make his way across the sands toward her. She swallows back the anxiety and steps across the sands to meet him.

Her ears swivel together as he begins to speak and she listens intently as he voices his concern about her staying here in seclusion. She understands his concerns but as he continues she can not help but furrow her brow. Not the same?

Had her husband try to come for her? What had changed in Rigel since coming here?

"I would hate to be the center of a feud," she pauses for a breath as she contemplates her words "I would like to see Rigel."

"If Allah wills it, he will not be angry and will thank you for your loyalty to him in keeping me from harms way." Her dark eyes search his as she offers her words.
