~ i was born with invisible wings: The young stallions excitement vibrates his body and glacial blue eyes sparkle brilliantly as he gazes upon the snow-white girl. He is surprised when he admires the pure color of her coat - not touched with any other color - and the way her hair cascades down her neck. As her muzzle connects with his own, his eyes grow wide and heat begins to radiate within his own cheeks. Awkwardly he clears his throat and briefly his eyes fall to his hooves, as he does his best to gather his thoughts together. He draws his eyes back up as she begins to speak with the cutest tilt to her head. "They are the words of my kinsmen," he pauses thoughtfully as she hopes that she is not too late "The exact time that the gods wanted you to meet me here," a shy smile tugs at his lip. The gods of the Norðurland, could be shallow, fickle and vain but beneath their roughness they offered wealth, power and favor to those who showed faith and obedience. Gods have no power here. The words are spat between barred teeth, the bitterness and disgust drips off of every syllable from the mares mouth. Surprise widens his eyes and his heart stammers inside of his chest. "What makes you so certain?" he asks the bitter small mare. She then turns her attention to the snow-white icelandic. Her words soften as she hides something deeper. He momentarily mulls over what could be eating at the unfamiliar mare. His glacial eyes remain on her for a moment longer before finally his attention draws back to the other. His ears waver atop his crown within his thick unkempt forelock. "Forsaken would mean that the gods have forgot about you," he pauses thoughtfully "That means that darkness and death would close around us all." Glacial eyes shift from one woman to the other.
