Her mind was busy with thoughts of her oldest daughter and the future or she might have known someone was watching her. As it was, only when the younger red dun charged from the tree line, did Monster know something was amiss. Her ears immediately flattened and her lips curled back. As the thundering hoof beats came up from behind, she tucked her tail and threw out both back hooves at him as he came to lunge for her rump. Let him taste that. Then with a squeal of defiance, she rushed forward, knowing he was going to try to pressure her in the direction of the beach. She threw herself forward then dove to the side, whirling around and aiming her jaws for his neck or face, whichever he dared to put in the way. She threw out a fore leg as she lunged, lashing out with a hoof at his leg or shoulder, too. Her two toned eyes begged for bloodshed as she sneered at the stallion as she danced more to the side after her attacks. His growling voice brought a chuckle to her lips as she lashed her tail against her flanks. "Oh, you have no idea who you're dealing with, Aladdin. The lagoon would get way more than they bargained for with a girl like me. But feel free to keep trying. I like the practice." Her teeth gnashed at the air, hungry for his blood as she swished her tail and circled, not letting him drive her in any one direction. He may be bigger, but she could duck and dive with the best of them and use her teeth and hooves to keep him at bay as long as she needed to. After all, it wouldn't take long for her mate to find the fly in his soup bowl. Just means she had a play thing until then.
