Sure, she was tired from the swim, but the excitement kept her going. The young mare felt a second wind as they reached the ridge and she took off. A large smile was on her face as she runs towards the jungle. Giggles often left her vocals with each step, hearing his hooves beats quickly upon her. He was quick compared to her short gait. Patience’s build was much heavier than his, but also shorter. Her short legs did not carry her anywhere at a fast pace, but she has already accepted this after times of playing tag with her mother. She wished her little brother could have been found. Maybe she would have been able to beat him in a race.
She tries to outrun him anyway, but he catches up to her quickly. This does not stop the giggles and laughs that erupt from her vocals as they run. They dodge trees, large plants, and the vast species of bugs as they run. Patience soon losses her stamina the further they go. She finds herself falling behind him with heavy breaths until she was barely walking anymore. Her eyes stare after him as she whinnies for him to turn around. ”I’m sorry…I… She tries to speak in between labored breaths. ”You’re too fast for me.” She admits with a cheeky smile. The grullo tobiano takes a minute to catch up her breathing, leaning against the large bark of a nearby tree.
”You are awful fun Kamekaze,” she admires his body as she speaks. It was odd the way she was beginning to feel about the stallion. Maybe it was just the season they were entering. ”I’d really like to see your home once we are finished exploring here. My mother knows one day I will leave her care and join someone else’s herd. She has already explained to me what happens when a mare and stallion get together.” Was this too much to talk about on the first date? ”Anyway, I am no longer bored hanging out with you.” She grins.
