Love shouldn't be contraband

(Assuming she found out about Sio’s capture after taking Lorcan to stay with Ailill.)

She had a lot to think about. So much was going on around her that her world felt like it was crumbling down. Her new relationship was on the rocks, she had lost Tigerlily to Nyimara’s claws, and now she learns her best friend was held captive. She fears for her friend’s life as she also fears for Tigerlily’s. Her loss was a massive one that hung over her head like a dark storm cloud. Learning more and more about Solomon’s misdeeds was adding the effect of lightening to her storm. The victory that came against the sneaky Banshee was not enough to break up the storm. No, because then she had to deliver her child to Ailill as promised. Alill was such a good stallion that he would have said it was okay for Lorcan to stay with her, but she could not deny him these precious memories. Besides, Lorcan wanted to go.

Ailill needed that happiness. Learning with Siobhan was taken brought down the rain upon her head. It poured and poured, bringing her down with heavy depression. It was so much that she could not participate with the rest of the herd in their fun games and she had even stopped talking to them. Never has she stopped being involved with her duties or stopped trying to meet all of her herd mates. She has now stopped and today she journeys away from home for some fresh air. The many eyes of Solomon’s mares were taxing. At least she still has Haskuldr at her side. It was looking like the colt might always stay with her how concerned he was for her mental health, but today she assured him she would be fine alone. He let her go just like the good son he was.

Ysabel descends onto the meadow aimlessly. There was no place she was actually going, but she just walks. It wasn’t until her light blue eyes spot Siobhan that there is any urgency in her steps. She picks up a canter and rushes towards the mare as she rests under the large tree. ”Siobhan!” She screams at the top of her lungs as she comes closer. Her pace eventually slows and she stops just beside the mare, nose lowering her gently touch her neck. ”I heard…you….Siobhan are you okay?” A few tears streak her cheeks as she chokes out the words.
