i'll get under your skin

She knew the red tinged stallion saw her, and yet he wasn't as quick to react as she might have thought. He waited until she was almost upon him before spinning around on well muscled haunched to gallop beside her, sending out a call of his own as if it had all been rehearsed. Her eyes twinkled with amusement as she didn't let up, pushing her own legs for all they had as he dared to challenge her in a race. Her delicate nostrils flared and her lungs felt fit to burst but she pushed for everything as one eyes stayed locked on his own, challenging him the whole way.

When the stallion suddenly dropped back, she didn't hesitate but kept running, aiming to circle back to taunt him some more if she had to. The way he suddenly snaked his neck was unexpected, yet she saw it out of her peripheral vision as she made to circle around. Snorting, the gray mare squealed defiantly and swished her tail toward him in retaliation, not wanting to hurt the stallion but letting him know that she wouldn't be easy, either. She is rather charmed by his masculine display, yet she wouldn't give in with so little effort. She liked the way his muscles bunched with strength and his eyes gleamed with confidence as he tossed his head and gave his own squeal. Tossing her own head, Corona arched her pretty neck and circled around the stallion, parading and prancing for all to see as her sides heaved with effort from the run.

Her skin shivered with anticipation, wondering what he would do, but when he spoke, her ears leaned toward him attentively. Raising her gaze to his own, she smirked. "That would be a death worth having, but my heart is made of tougher stuff." When he threw up another yell, she couldn't help but laugh, caught up in the ecstacy of the run herself. He told her how he'd feel the burn tomorrow and about his meal. She couldn't help but tilt her head as her eyes twinkled with mischief. "And you didn't invite me? Guess you'll just have to make it up to me." Her eyes glimmered with heat before he spoke again, her head jerking with surprise before she finally came to a stop before him. "Marriage? I haven't even been courted yet. I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves here." Her eyes glittered devilishly as she moved toward him to reach her muzzle out and exchange breaths. "Do you even remember my name, Aldebaran?" She teased in a purring whisper.
