The other mare was definitely biger and could do some damage if she turned on Medusa but something told the smaller mare she wasn't the violent type, at least not if she could help it. A part of the bay dun hated the idea of bullying anyone to go somewhere they didn't want to, but she also had that dominant part that protested the idea of anyone telling her no. Besides, it was for the girl's own good that she leave the Thicket behind. She was miserable here. It was easy for anyone to see. If the water was the only thing keeping her from going somewhere else, then Medusa felt like it was a favor to give her that little nudge to get out of there. So she overrode her "be kind" instincts and turned on the Queen bee switch. She couldn't always be the nice one as Queen. Might as well get used to it now.

The palomino stepped back with a snort and Medusa knew she had her on the hook. She wasn't stepping up to meet her head-on, so she didn't want a confrontation. The tobiano took that as a sign to keep pushing. No one had yet to step forward in her defense. In a way, Medusa felt disappointed with the lead stallion. Did he care nothing for others' safety? Even if she wasn't officially a member of his herd, could he not spare a few minutes of his time to offer sanctuary? It seemed no one was curious of their commotion, either. Just more signs, the mare was better off away from this place.

The draft mare screamed and stepped back as her teeth pinched skin. The Inlet Queen didn't want to hurt her; she just wanted to make her move. She stepped back and started to circle, hoping she'd made her point clear. She didn't mind getting physical if she needed to. At first, the other paint danced and tried to watch her but eventually she screamed her surrender said she would stop going if she didn't bite her. Two toned eyes twinkled with amusement as Medusa dipped her head in approval. "Deal." She purred the word before pawing at the ground, another sign to get moving. This time, the bigger mare took the command and leapt into the water. Medusa was quick to follow after.

Even as they swam to Tinuvel, Medusa knew she wouldn't hold the mare hostage. That wasn't her intentions, anyway. She just wanted to show her she could overcome whatever dislike she had of the water. Some things were more important, like her happiness. As the mare swam to shore, Medusa followed but gave her space once they were on the shores of the Inlet. Shaking out her coat, she looked over to where the other mare was complaining, a small smirk tugging at her lips as she snorted to clear her nostrils before pricking her ears. "You probably think I did a horrible thing and you don't have to believe me when I say I had the best intentions. I can't always be the good guy and I'm okay with that." She gave a shrug as she looked around before turning her blue and brown eyes back on the draft.

"Believe it or not, you're not a captive here and you're welcome to leave whenever. If you go back to the Thicket, you're on your own. Please, don't do it just to prove a point. It doesn't take a genius to see you were miserable there and you were only going to get more miserable. I may not know you, but you deserve happiness." Tilting her head, she waited to see the mare's response.
