Something about the fleabitten grey mare called to her, asking for her protection. And Monster knew she would give it without hesitation. Watching all the emotions cross the mare's face was hard. She hadn't really thought about a child coming from what was done to her and again, Monster's heart went out to her. No, there was nothing she could to take away the memory or the body's memory of what was done to her. She did know plants to abort, though. It was something she could offer, though she hoped the mare would turn her down. She saw real fear in the mare's pretty features and her own gaze softened in response. Whatever the mare needed, Monster would provide. She went into the story then and the painted mare admired her courage to talk about it. The stallion had no poise, it seemed. Simply mounting a mare who was only trying to start conversation. Monster snorted in her anger and pawed at the ground. When she saw the shame on the mare's face, she shook her head. "You did nothing wrong. Some stallions have no manners, no sense of decency." She muttered. She said she should have stayed and Monster let out a breath. "No sense in beating yourself up about it. Can't change the past. Limiting yourself to one place isn't the answer either, though maybe in the Fall, we should be careful of where we wander." She added softly, her gaze searching the mare's. When she asked about Paradise, the mare seemed happier, saying it was pretty here and Rougaru was kind. She could only smile to herself, wondering what the mare would think of his wolf side, his dominant side, though she liked to think of that part of him as hers alone, anyway. Let the others have his softness, his niceness. She'd take the wolf, any day. At her sudden anxious question, Monster looked at her and shook her head. "No, he won't be mad at you. He'll be mad at the stallion who did this, but he'll know you didn't ask for it."
