I don't really like myself without you
He had not known what his sister was up to or why she had bred with Bjorn. Her tongue was becoming increasingly harder to understand. Still, it is not her he was following, but Kvothe. The soft mare stirs so many emotions from him and after knowing her fate he had watched her closely every since. He wished her to open up to him, but instead it seemed hard to find any proper alone time with her. Being a herd stallion kept him fairly busy, but still he watches. Her swollen belly was now reaching its end so his eyes keep even closer to her even with his first-born son about. He knew Lace could handle Wrocław, but he did not know how Kvothe would handle her next birth. Pike was wonderful, but she was wild. A child that was always straying off to the Cove.

He had to make sure this stranger’s child would not kill her. He did not personally see the act his sister preformed (he was too far away), but he did see Kvothe’s reaction to something in the distance. Her legs carry her blindly into the forest and his heart leapt to follow. But first….he strode closer to the thing that scared his first lover. Shock fell over his face at the sight of Brunhild standing over a dead child. Everything didn’t register at first, but he knew Kvothe had seen a grisly sight at the hands of his ‘nordic’ believing sister. He turns and his legs carry him swiftly after Kvothe. Speed has always been his best quality so he catches up to her with ease, but does not get close enough to alert her of his follow.

She dips into the sea and so does he, following her to the place she runs to. Where could she be going? The Inlet was her home and it was him she should be running scared to.
