I don't really like myself without you
Something new has crossed his mind about his family and home. His herd required more structure, more rules, and they needed to be clearly said aloud so the herd understood. In addition to that, Solomon was now their island King. Ironclad had tried to use his knowledge of the land in his favor, but the fact was Solomon had more experience as a ruler. If anyone was to be over his head, Solomon would be his pick, but one day he would take the title for himself. Sometime later down the line when he was much older like his sire had been. For now, he had a new family he was learning to handle. Recent events have begun to shape the young stallion into a man on tradition and honor. His family would know both of these things in the seasons to come.

Ironclad had a prize in mind for the winner of their battle, as well as, his trusty side kick. Zharko had been so kind and gentle with his half sister that Ironclad felt he deserved more than just her. More would come in due time, but for now Solomon summons them. Ironclad grumbles, but in truth he was thinking of seeking out the stallion himself to offer his gift. The reason the young stallion wasn’t too keen for visitors today was because of the happenings between himself and Kvothe. Betrayal was not a new thing for him to feel, but it still hurt all the same. Especially with a mare he thought would always be around for him to snuggle upon. The greying stallion stands and travels towards the two stallions, his second already upon Solomon.

His youthful skull raises with what pride he has left after the scandal of a lover quarrel, but he tries his best to hide the pain from both of them. ”Ah, Solomon just the stallion I was thinking of seeing. I have an offer for you if you would take it. You deserve a gift after winning such a high title that my parents held just before you took the throne.” He gives the taller stallion a dip of his skull before turning his eyes to Zharko with a smile. ”I have a proposal for you as well my friend since you have been so good to my sister.” Thing in the Inlet were about to seem so intertwined and confusing, but this was the ancient ways of the Vikings. Brunhild’s speeches were finally getting to him. His gaze turns back to Solomon. ”You seem troubled. What brings you to the Inlet?”
