A foolish thought has run through my mind. What if Lying were declared be unlawful and had severe penalties for a finding of lying: WHat would be the unanticipated consequences? THE Advertising industr would be completEly demolished, and maybe political debate, and all claims to be better bigger, or healthy, and "clinical trials" would forever disappear in claims, and people would be lowered to the honesty level of our naive young children.
