Hi Bonnie;
A Grey Catbird is an unusual but not rare winter bird for our area. Often Northern Mockingbirds are often reported and even Brown Thrashers are sometimes observed in the winter in southern Ontario. Did your friend get a photo of the bird that she could send me or if not, could you give me the location so that I could observe the bird and maybe get a photo? You or your friend could call me with that information if possible. Always like reports of unusual winter birds. Thanks, Bob Replies: There have been no replies.
