Use caution when the wolf comes knocking;

Rougaru watches him. Solomon took the seeds of knowledge that he offered willingly and even in the doubt and worry, Rougaru does not miss the restlessness with which his hooves shift beneath him nor the tilt of his ear back towards the shore. If Rougaru was honest with himself, he felt for Solomon. The beast felt his pain and worry for he himself had gone through much the same thing when Zjeena had returned to Liland and likewise when Monster had been stolen by the gray fjord stallion. Memory causes him to once more press firmly against Monster, finding the touch of her skin a soothing hand on the wolf's back. She was here. Zjeena too was finally free of the demon stallion and the others of his herd were safely hidden in the shadows of the jungle and away from prying eyes. It was not his mare that was missing, but the understanding turned his multifaceted gaze somewhat sympathetic as he tilted his head forward in a tense nod. "If she returns here I will see her home." '..if that is her wish.' he murmurs, carefully leaving off the wolf's growled words. Truthfully, with the speed in which Cicek departed his shores, and the fear in her eyes as the realization of their coupling descended upon her, he doubted he would ever see her again. Doubted he would ever learn whether their coupling resulted in any offspring, though it would be foolish to admit he did not find his mind wandering to what foal they might create. He had not known her name, but her exotic words and gloriously determined fever had been forever stowed away in his mind. Cicek.

Finally, Solomon gave his way out, but not before relaying a bit of new and intriguing information. Mahogany ears perk amid the tangled knot of cream and caramel mane as Solomon informs him of the Harbor's new leadership. The wolf flashes its teeth at the thought of loosing Nasa's rule but it was bound to happen at some point. He still struggled with Warsaw's philosophy about women rulers, regardless of his growing friendship with Faolain and the more wary Rivaini. What of Nasa? Mentally he made a note to track her down. Even if she was no longer queen of the Harbor, she was no doubt carrying his child and perhaps she would be inclined to stay in Paradise with him. She was such a pretty sight after all and her youthful personality and positive perspective was warming to his heart. But no need to offer that information to Solomon. They may be allies but the alliance wavered on a single thread. "I had noticed the change in scent markers but admit I had not bothered to investigate further. Perhaps I shall visit with her, though it is quite odd she is no longer your queen." he murmurs more to himself than to Solomon. His muscular shoulders shrug as he gives his proud head a shake. "I take it there is an understanding of sorts between you and she?" he asks, the meaning clear despite the languidness with which he asks it. You will defend her? It was clear without being said but the wolf could not help but poke at the sleeping bear.

The mention of Faolain does divert his attention away from the mysterious Harbor queen and fully onto the Ridge once more. A broad smile ghosts across his ashen lips as he once more dips his head in a brief nod. "I was not aware of your familiarity with my neighbors but yes, Faolain and I have come to a sort of alliance you could say. She reminds me greatly of a mare who has long left these shores but likewise gained my respect and loyalty. To error her would bring the wrath of the wolf against you." he remarks, his green eyes hard as he meets the dark ones of Solomon. A promise. Not a threat.

He asks about Rivaini's child and again the smile conforms to his masculine features. He had sired many children this season but Alpha and Hades were no doubt his current obsessions. "He is." the words were simple enough but resolute nonetheless. The boisterous boy with two mother's would no doubt prove to be a force to be reckoned with as age grew him. With Rivaini to teach him wisdom and Faolain and Rougaru to offer battle and leadership qualities, the beast held little doubt that the boy would come to greatness. It was his destiny just as Alpha too would inherit more than his fair share of battle and bravado. Monster would see to it.

"I wish you luck with your search..." Rougaru continued, more than ready to see himself rid of the 'Tinuvel King'. He had plans to put into action and that action would require his attention elsewhere. A fact he did not trust Solomon enough to know. That was for Monster and Zjeena alone.
