Persephone smiled at Ryder’s words and gave a small nod of her head. “Thank you,” she said. “I will have to pay him a visit. Let him know he and his family are welcome here, too, should they ever wish to visit or pass through.” It was good to know that there was still a friend on the other side of the border. Persephone liked to be at ease over who crossed between the territories surrounding her home, and so she was hopeful that may be able to resume. Thankfully, Ryder took the news well that Persephone, unfortunately, did not have any useful information for him. She committed the mother’s name to her memory with a confident nod to his words. She would make an effort to find out if anyone else had seen the girls at least. “I will do what I can, and I will come to the Prairie if I manage to find anything of use.
