He was still feeling the injuries from his tussle with that angry blue roan. He never did find out what her problem was or why she was taking it out on him, but in the end, he was just relieved that she left him alone and ran off. At first, the stallion only wondered why he didn't see red and go after her like he did the other colts as a kid, or as he wanted to when Talien talked about her former stallion forcing himself on her. But then it hit him. He was angry at those colts and with her former leader. He wasn't angry with the mare, more concerned about whatever had her so upset that she would attack a stranger. He defended himself but at least he was sure he didn't hurt her. In fact, he was pretty sure he looked worse for wear. He still favored his front leg from where she charged into him but it seemed to be on the mend. The rip in his ear would probably never heal but at least it wasn't bleeding anymore. The bites to his neck were bruised but they stopped bleeding too and were starting to close. He was trying to get a few bites to eat when he heard the most angelic sound: Talien's voice. A soft smile tugged at his lips even as he lifted his head to reach for her. His green eyes danced as he gave a light snort. "Only trying to hide my shame. I got beat up by a girl." He had a twinkle in his eye so she might not take it so seriously, but he was still beating himself up about it. It's not like he could hide the wounds from her once she saw him. At her next question, he perked up. "Where's the lucky location? It's gotta meet your standards....and nobody making eyes at you. That's a given." He said with a smirk, but his eyes gave more away. He may be teasing, but he was definitely not going to share her with anyone and he didn't want her to forget it.
