Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

The colt was agile and fast, and he kept up with her easily. Ravine laughed when asked if she wanted to enjoy the view instead of fly right past it, and though it was a dry laugh, it held a little bit of genuine humor in it. ”What is there to see?” she called over her shoulder as they raced through the trees, not following any particular path. ”There’s green... and then more green.”

As they bucked and raced their way through the Lagoon, Ravine did catch a glimpse of glittering blue water through the trees. She was almost tempted to stop and check it out, but didn’t want to give the stallion the satisfaction of knowing she was interested in the place. Instead, she tossed her head wildly and continued on. Eventually, she slid to a stop and turned around.

What do you want to do now? he asked, and Ravine eyed him suspiciously as she pondered. ”Not that I’m really that interested, but you mentioned the ‘good parts...’” she said, trying not to betray her curiosity. In truth, she had never before seen a place like this - it was so incredibly different from where she had grown up that she did not even know what to make of it. Now that she was in it, the place wasn’t so scary, but it did have a heavy musk of stallion that would take some getting used to. She was not sure if the shiny colt would try to keep her here, but for the time being, she figured there were worse places to be stuck.

”What is this place, anyway?” she asked nonchalantly, finally taking her gaze off of the stallion in order to inspect her surroundings. ”I suppose it’s pretty enough for a prison,” she mused, shooting him a smug grin. ”And where are your other prisoners, Sunshine? Or am I the only one?”
