OOC: Taking place after the Tyr/Ironclad altercation below and before all the fall drama. This should be early summerish?
Just as his father once stayed hidden from his family after being badly injured, so did he. Ironclad stays to the cave known to his family as their sacred resting place. This is where the bones of his father still lay at the entrance. It was where Warsaw once said he first became intimate with their mother (yuck!) and possibly where him and his brother were conceived. It is where their family used to stay when it rained and when they were little. This was their cave, the cave of Vita Nova and Warsaw. The cave of the King and Queen of Tinuvel. It was now his cave and the cave he would share with not one, but two Queens. Both Medusa and Lace have proved their rights to it. Besides he couldn’t decide which to share it with. They both deserved it and they both would get it.
The first would be Lace. Ironclad hangs outside the entrance of the as he calls for her. His greying hips lean against the chilly cave wall. The chill of the rock large formation felt good against his wound. A gash lay on his hip from where Tyr ripped him open. The rest of his body was littered with bruises from taking the brunt of the draft’s hooves. He had lost the fight right in front of his own second and co-lead. Both of them had saw him fail, but thankfully they were there to continue chasing Tyr off their island. If it wasn’t for them Medusa may be lost to them just like Kvothe was. Sad blue eyes search the pine forest for the appearance of his spotted pony.
He hopes seeing Lace would improve his mood. He hopes she could help him heal while increasing their relationship status. She had once been mated to his twin brother. It was awkward at first, but Ironclad had quickly connected with her. The creation of Wrocław wasn’t supposed to happen, but their sorrows had come together. Their spotted son was a sign of their strength together. As long as they were together they could over come…
