Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

’I’m headed straight for the castle…’

Nyimara did not go willingly. Anger and rage boiled through her veins, sending each hair and fiber of her being on a never ending cycle of hate. He had seen her. Beneath her breath she cursed him with all the words she knew best. She cursed him to the fates and gods and crused his name in a thousand languages. His threat is one that she pays little heed to, a warning meant to turn her into a wide-eyed little meek doe but instead causes her body to stiffen with resentment and outrage. Dark eyes glare at him from beneath the furrow of her brow. Paper nostrils flare as the smuggest of smirks begins to form across her ash dusted lips. Were it not for Warduna, perhaps she would have struck him then, taken her chances against the rolling tides of fate and fought for her freedom and his demise. Long had the monster lay dormant, half starved of its thirst for blood and denied any reprieve. If it had not been for the small filly, huddled tight against her foreleg, her small body shuddering in fear. If it had not been for Warduna….

Teeth clench together behind the sleek curve of her jaw as the exotic woman forces her gaze from the pale dusted stallion and tentatively urges her daughter back to the ocean. Fury lends strength to her hooves as Nyimara struck out at the ocean waters and propelled herself back towards the Lagoon without a second glance towards the stallion. She would never allow him to think she needed his guidance. Cool waters warm as they once more near the murk and mire of the Lagoon. Nostrils flare in disdain as once more her hooves find purchase in the silt and sand, Nyimara turns her fury upon him. Dark eyes blaze as the pale haired woman offers him a sneer or derision. ”Are you so fearful of me old dog? Do I instill such terror in your heart that you think yourself capable of locking me away?” she asks, her lilted tones venomous as she takes a step towards him. Yellowing teeth bare fiercely as small ears lift amid the endless curls of her silver-white mane. Definitely she lifts her finely dished head, a sinister smile replacing the sneer with effortless ease. ”You will not keep me here forever.”
