Feeling everything through the light contact of Ironclad's shoulder brushing her own, it was a new experience for Medusa, but she didn't find it all that unpleasant. She could feel him when he tensed and when he softened. He seemed fond of Arael. She could see it in his eyes and in the way his body seemed to melt when he talked to her. He told her how it got cold in the Inlet but it would make up for it in the spring and she smiled a little herself, hoping she'd get to see that beauty herself. He then reassured the mare that she couldn't make a bad impression and that everyone would love her. Medusa smiled a little more at that, her own eyes softening toward the mare, wanting her to see only agreement in her expression if Arael happened to look her way.

Of course, it would be hard to miss Ironclad's hesitation when he talked of himself. He admitted there was a lot going on with the herd right now but it would work out. She could feel his body tense up and she snorted softly, shaking out her mane. When he bumped her shoulder a little, she sensed that he was happy with her about something but wasn't quite sure what it was about. Did he like her meeting the other mares? That probably meant Lakota hadn't talked to him yet. She'd be sure to lose some points over that one.

At least Arael seemed to understand her bad luck with the younger horses. She agreed they can be difficult and Medusa tilted her head a little, quirking a brow. "You wouldn't happen to have any pointers, would you?" When asked about her daughter, Arael seemed a little embarrassed before admitting her daughter wanted to stay in her birth home. She gave indication she wanted to be a mother again soon and now it was Medusa's turn to brush Ironclad's shoulder almost teasingly. "I'm sure you'll have your chance soon enough." She said with a knowing glance to the stallion beside her.

At the sudden question directed to her, though, she tensed up a little and shook her head. "Not yet. I'm still gaining my legs here in the Inlet. But maybe soon." Her gaze shifted more awkwardly to the stallion beside her, feeling her heartbeat speed up. The mare seemed flattered by Ironclad's compliments and she thanked him in a humble tone that Medusa almost envied. Her concern was instant for the stallion when he hesitated to tell her about the herd. She asked how she could help and Medusa flicked an ear, curious of his answer.
