It was nice to know he had connections here. Knowing he had a sister who could tell him more about his father was everything he could ever ask for. If he couldn't meet the stallion himself, then this was a close second. Suddenly he didn't feel so alone. Scorpio was full of life and fire. She had an unbridled energy that reminded him a lot of his sister, Raptor. He saw some of that spirit in his younger sister, Nicaule, as well, but Raptor was the unpredictable one. She had run off to Atlantis with that strange white mare and no one had heard back from her yet. Was she planning on staying? She almost acted like she was in love with the mare or something. Surely that wasn't natural, right? Solomon seemed concerned. So did his mother. He felt he should be too, but he had other things to worry about.
He could tell Scorpio hadn't heard of Solomon before but that's okay. She said it was good his mom was doing okay and he smiled. Yeah, he was happy for his mom too. She deserved happiness. As he looked around, all he could see was golden sand.
"Is it always so....sandy?" She finally answered him, saying he had indeed found Salem. He grinned in triumph. She called it the Dunes and he scowled as he looked around again.
"Oh...okay." But then she got to the good part, saying Bahadir used to own this place and he looked around with more interest. So this was where his mother lived...
She offered a game of chase and he raised his head, ears pricked.
"I think I can handle that." He chuckled as she nipped him, tossing his head with a squeal before he took off after her. It was hard getting his footing in the sand. He kept slipping and sinking, which made him trip.
"Ugh, how do you run here?" He called out.
