Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

Although Tyr knew he should have expected her denial, the ache it caused when she spoke it was a new feeling. It seemed whenever he was in the red mare’s presence, she was always teaching him the different feelings a mare could twist a stallion through. The giant pulled his multicolored face away, closing his eyes briefly as he tried to reign everything in. These emotions, these feelings; they were becoming too much. Pointless, if last time had not been proof enough. Yet, Tyr felt addicted. Even though he hated how much control it had taken over him, he still sought more.

“You left the Inlet with such fear.” he said, opening his eyes to look at Kvothe. Though his voice was not filled with the hurt, and the irritation that lingered hand in hand with the rest of the emotions, as he could not understand any of it. Her. Him. These feelings. If only he wasn’t so weak and could rid himself of everything. “I want to keep you safe.” Tyr said instead of telling her to leave. Instead of telling her that she drove him crazy with these needs. “And… I want to raise this child together.” Tyr added. “Like we should have done the last.”

Though it was too soon to tell if she would become pregnant, Tyr hoped that she would. That she would give him another son as strong, if not stronger than the last. To make up for the mistakes he had made in keeping them tucked away in the Falls bordering the Peak, thinking that they would be safe there when clearly they had not.
