After Tyr had departed from Roisin on the Crossing’s shore, the pale stallion had plenty of time to think about what he was doing during his swim. Was this really the right decision for him and the Lagoon? He had to think this was all for something. A change he had wanted ever since fully understanding the path he had chosen. It seemed to be the change everyone was craving but refused to voice. Afraid of losing the edge they all wanted to appear to have. Tyr wasn’t afraid of losing face or what other’s said of him. The list of things Tyr actually cared about were slim, and it hardly had to do with reputation despite earning a name and title for himself.
When Tyr once again reached the Atlantis shore, he stepped onto the sandy beach with a new determination. Unlike the last time, he didn’t go charging in with the intent to take. Rather, he stood where the water still lapped at his hind hooves. Multicolored eyes swept the golden landscape, only marked with the deep greens of the jungle. The sand where they had scuffled was still marred; darker than the rest of the beach. It caused a snort to escape his nares. He doubted this would go the way he wanted, but he would at least try.
Letting out a call, the stallion’s voice broke the silence with a booming sound. A few birds took flight from the trees up along the shoreline and he watched as the light caught their beautiful colored wings. If it hadn’t been for his choice in the Lagoon, he was pretty sure he would have settled here upon Atlantis. It was only when he saw movement that his gaze returned to the one who had decided to greet him. “I’m only here to talk.” he stated, not wanting them to think he was here to continue their fight.
