Eastern Phoebe

Hi there - I have what I believe is an Eastern Phoebe at my cottage who has nested in my eaves. All of a sudden there are no goldfinches at my feeder. I moved the goldfinch feeder, saw that a couple had returned but then half an hour later saw the Phoebe sitting on it like she was making a statement! No goldfinches again. Moved the feeder further away, saw that a couple had returned again and am now waiting till I'm back up there to see if Phoebe has scared them away again. Does anyone know if Phoebe's are actually this territorial or is it something else keeping the finches away? If so, how far do I have to move the goldfinch feeder away from her nest? (I notice that the hummingbirds still come to to their feeder even though it's directly below the nest). Thanks!
