Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Breaking the bad

The young stallion grew restless as the seasons changed. The heat came to the Lagoon and seemed to linger, bathing everything in a musty humidity that didn’t give up. Chronos was lathered in sweat most of the time as he galloped along the borders or harassed Ravine in an attempt to get her to socialize more. She was sticking to herself too much and he still had hopes that she would grow to do more than tolerate him.

The must of under accomplishment was falling on the golden stallion as well. He felt like he needed to do more to earn his name and his place in the bachelor herd. Herds kept changing leaders too quickly for him to raid anyone and the Common had grown too quiet for his liking over the past few months. His next best bet would be to challenge someone for their mares. That should be fun! But he felt like he needed more training. Where was Rade when you needed him?

Things had felt tense between him and the Lagoon leader since their trip to the Savanna. Chronos could tell the older stallion’s bubble was busted over what the spotted guy said. Too sentimental, if you asked him. Rade needed to let that guy go and focus on the bachelors hew as now in charge of. Tossing his head, Chronos gave another kick over his head and slowed down to grab a bite to eat. A harsh snort left his nostrils as he looked around to see who he could talk to.
