Re(1): The MC product is not for everyone

Let me start off by saying, I enjoy watching MC, and I think their product has improved immensely since it's beginning. With that stated, I am personally a traditionalist, when it comes to the "True" history of the Sport named Jai-Alai.

The sport came to us from the Pyrenees mountains of Spain and France, some say it dates back before the 16th century...
We're learning to play was passed down, from father to son, and it's embedded in their culture. Like eating paella and going to church on Sunday.

Unlike here in America, where the game has changed greatly. America took it from the traditional partido format, and brought it down to the ranks/levels of dogs, and harness racing. With its round robin, betting system, quinella trifecta superfector wagering. In some ways has destroyed the Magical, and the Mystery of the game, in the eye's of the true purist.

But let me get to my point. In my opinion, The Sport which will be salvaged of the once Great form of Jai-Alai, will be downsized and played on these 30 meter courts, "Should Not" be called, or categorize as Jai-Alai. There's just too much history and tradition there.

I think they should come up with a New name, for this new style of play. Something sounding... Fast paced, Strong, that matches what the fans, and bettors are seeing on the court...
I like the name "SMASH BALL" !

Again, in my opinion, think it should stand on its own. Let it be it's on entity.
