Re(1): A reminder for fans of traditional jai alai

My opinion is that jai alai with a proper pelota and full sized court tends to appeal to those who appreciate the sport. Quinielas (spectacular seven / round robin) came to the states as a lesser version of the original sport. It also added a betting element that had an appeal to sport lovers and some that like to gamble (no judgement). I believe that the MC version is a clever and well conceived form of entertainment and gambling venue. Far preferable , it would appear, to someone who likes to bet. It is nice to see some form of jai alai survive , I cannot see it as a true version of the sport of jai alai. My 2 cents.
Thanks for the interesting topic
