Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Floki had rolled over onto his back and was getting his "sun time" as he liked to call it, while Ragnar chewed vigorously on a bone he'd found lying around. If left to their own devices, they would probably still be doing the same thing hours from now. Alas, though, their time at ease was about to come to an end. Ragnar had been eying the older female over by his mother. They seemed to be having some kind of conversation, though he hardly cared to know what they were talking about. He only cared that she respected his mother's space and didn't make any hostile moves while speaking to her. Yet the female only seemed amused, if anything. His eyes narrowed in suspicion as he continued to gnaw at the edges of the femur bone, cracking off pieces with his teeth until the chirping noises started. His ears pricked and he turned his gaze toward the two females only to see the female staring directly at him and Floki. His ears immediately fell back to his skull in distaste as he wrinkled his nose and stared at her, his lips curling a bit in warning. What did she want?

Meanwhile, Floki startled from his nap. "Ah, I'm up, I'm up, stop the alarm!" He cried out as he rolled back to his stomach and blinked as he looked around, trying to orient himself. First, he looked to Ragnar and his brows furrowed in confusion. Are you making that annoying bird sound?" Ragnar growled and shook his head in answer, to which Floki then turned his gaze to find the two females over on the hill. As he met the female's gaze, the male jerked his head back in shock and his ears folded back. "What the...why is she staring at us? Is that her making that sound?" His nose wrinkled as he glanced back to his brother for an answer. When Ragnar nodded, the red and white male sighed and slowly got to his paws, taking a moment to stretch. "Well, I guess we should go see what they want, yes?" Ragnar seemed less than thrilled about the prospect, giving him a louder growl in response as he went back to gnawing on his bone but Floki scoffed and reached out to slap it away, knowing he would get a reaction.

And that's exactly what he got. Ragnar leapt up faster than should be possible, his hackles raised as his gnashing jaws planted themselves less than an inch from his brother's startled face. Floki cowered back and swallowed, though tried to give a stern voice as his eyes narrowed in disapproval. "I get it, you're pissed that I touched your bone. It'll still be here when we get back. Now use some of that pent-up energy to come with me to see what they want. Capiche?" He offered a sheepish smile at the end, trying to garner his brother's favor again. In response, Ragnar slowly covered his fangs again, but his eyes still glared mercilessly at the red and white male. "Okay, holding onto a grudge, got it..." Floki mumbled as he turned to the females, only to prick his ears and part his lips as the girl spit some word out in a language he'd never heard of before. "What the hell did she just say??"

He froze for a moment in uncertaintly, but was pushed forward by a strong shoulder as his brother brushed past, heading for their mother and the other wolf. "Okay, that's gonna bruise..." He mumbled to himself, scowling at Ragnar's back before trotting after him. "Hey, wait up!"
