Pete, Will or Somebody: How come no one is hammering the desk and demanding to know why Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refused to accept strong requests for additional security? All those Capitol police agree that a word from her stopped it, despite advance warnings. If a ship's captain had ignored warning of minefields ahead, and refused to alter course, best he had gone down with his ship. Let it be so with her.
