Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

You’re not Salinger. Get over it.

He was learning. He was always learning. That’s what happens at his age, he supposes. There’s something in him that can’t be sated, and Frey wonders if that thing is a lust for knowledge. More than likely, it’s a lust for purpose. He would eventually have a purpose, but for now, it was yet to be determined.

How long would it be before dad taught him how to fight? Could Frey rely on his father for anything? At this rate, he’d taken mom and fucked off for the winter. He hadn’t bothered to let Frey know, that’s for sure. There’s a burning in the back of his throat as he thinks of it. What was this taste? Was it resentment? Probably. If he dwelled on that thought, he’d get even more upset. At this rate, he’d be nearly as massive as his father. Just as much of a powerhouse, just as strong… angrier. That could be dangerous.

Frey is wrapped up in his own bad feelings when the creature collides with him. He’s not as graceful, nowhere near as catlike than the lighter man. The colt’s ears pin to his skull, eyes flashing with the light of the bad feelings that have been growing in his breast as he walks. “What the fuck? The disgust in Frey’s voice is clear, taking a long step back.

Stupid? you walked into me douchebag.” There’s venom in Frey’s words, already stormy mood abruptly declining. The stranger spoke like he wasn’t from here, and didn’t smell like the Lagoon. He was either new, or a captive. Either way, it was too late for manners. “No one uses this trail. What the fuck are you doing out here?” Frey draws to his full height as best he can. The colt was large for his age, and would only get larger. Still, he is just a child… and maybe not the most intimidating sight. He’d try, though. Sure as hell he’d try.
