 ~ they have not yet noticed the lion hiding, A breath leaves his amber lips as he settles so close to her. Sweetbriar. Her name plays at the edges of his mind and causes his heart to hammer against his ribs. He could feel the warmth of her skin against his own and her scent washes around him. A single ears swivels toward her as she begins to speak once more, her voice soft and a smile plays at the edge of her lips. I was born on these Islands... she breathes and closes her eyes as if enjoying the story of her past, and as she finishes she peeks up at him from beneath a veil of lashes. "Well, maybe we could find which island you were born on," he says hopefully, then suddenly he realizes that he had yet to introduce himself. A sheepish grin spreads across his lips as he clears his throat gently. "I am Gavriel," he breathes "king of the Arch, which is right next to my father's land, who is King of Tinuvel." the young stallion glances over at her as his introduction settles between them. "Tinuvel, is beautiful. There are mountains as far as you eye can see, the creeks are fed by the snow melt so they are cold and refreshing to your tongue, and in the summers, the high mountain meadows blossom with purple and yellow wild flowers." his amber eyes glimmer with pride. The land of Tinuvel was harsh and unforgiving, but beyond that, there is an unmistakable fierce beauty. He swivels his head toward her and takes in the curve of her brow and the chisel of her cheekbone. His breath is caught on his lips as he silently admires Sweetbriar, she would fit beautifully amongst the dark pines and craggy mountain peaks. A true woman of the north.
