comfort me with apples, for i am sick of love

Of the hundreds of souls that called the islands home, Bjorn was by far the only stallion that Solomon could find himself interacting with reliably on an accidental basis. Claiming Coda and then Marzanna. Meeting Rivaini, and then much later Ylva. Battling Valka on the shores of the Bay. Time and time again they found themselves meeting in ever more diverse circumstances, and while Solomon would freely admit that he didn't necessarily enough his time with Bjorn, he also did not hate it.

It was not like meeting Rougaru, or Bacardi, or Maslakhat. There was an understanding between the two of them that had been created out of necessity due to their frequent meetups; and while either stallion may try to deny it, Solomon had developed a begrudging respect for the nordic stallion. He may never understand why the stallion came nad left like the seasons, but he could not deny that the man had a tendency to shake up the isles when he did so. Perhaps with a solid base of alliances, his nomadic ways would cease, and Tinuvel could once more become a force among the other islands.

With the beginnings of a proposal outlined, Solomon waits quietly, his skin prickling with uncommon anxiety. He wouldn't shy away from a battle if it came down to it, but he would much rather that their alliance be formed on the basis of trust (small though it was), rather than conflict. His kingship had been won on with fighting, and it had not instilled any loyalty in Aranck.

As it was, he half-expected Bjorn to start naming his own terms. After all, a ceasefire was the least that he could offer to an ally. Instead, the grullo stallion simply accepts Solomon's terms. Surprise flickers in his green gaze for a moment before he nods in agreement, a tentative smile forming on his lips. At Bjorn's next question, Solomon pauses for a moment to consider his reply. He could simply nod and say that yes, he would keep an eye out for his daughter without giving away the fact that he knew where she was. That seemed both cowardly and in direct opposition to his goal.

Plus, they were both fathers, and it was not the season to want to lose one's daughters in.

"I can do you one better," He says with the first hint of wry amusement. "I know where she is now."

Solomon lifted his head to incline it toward the Arch, which stood between his home in the Cove and the Inlet. "She's next door the last I heard, with my son in the Arch." His lips pressed into a thin line that was half amusement and half annoyance. When Suleiman had admitted when he had promised the young girl, all Solomon could hear in his head was how big of a mistake it was to offer queenship to a mare as a condition for them staying. He had learned that the hard way with Marzanna. But Suleiman had to make his own mistakes sometime, and until they had the land to themselves anyway, it wasn't a problem that would bother them just yet. "Apparently they've taken quite a liking to each other. I'm sure she'd be glad to see you again."

Solomon pauses for a moment in consideration again, choosing whether he should share what he knew of the islands or not. Eventually, he opts in, if only because having another pair of eyes out looking for Vihar would benefit more than keeping it a secret. "You should know that all ties from Tinuvel to Rougaru have been cut, and that he holds my daughter in Paradise. Her name is Vihar, and if you should ever be in a position to return her home before I can, I would be in your debt." He did not know if his bold little girl had gone to Paradise of her own volition or not, or if she had been violated during her time there, but each day apart from her spent not knowing was its own kind of torture.

"Do you have any enemies we ought to watch for?" His gaze rests shrewdly on his companion, attempting to glean as much information from him as he could.
