He lays on the beach, unbeknownst to her presence. All he knows at the moment his eyes shut, is darkness. He'd barely laid outside of the reach of the tide, which at the time was low. However, it would be a matter of hours before it began to creep into the Meadow again. As the confines of his mind reach the dream phase, REM, he is plagued with a past he had forgotten. Flashes of memories dash his mind from the inception of his entrance into the world, to the moment his mother left him, vulnerable and alone. How long had it been since she'd abandoned him? How long had he wandered that long stretch of Desert, near death and confused? He did not know, but the dream, quickly had spawned into a nightmare.
Awake.
And then he felt it. The strange sensation of a something, or rather someone touching him. He startles instantly, his eyes flying open wildly. His legs trash beneath him as he pulls himself quickly to a standing position. He snakes his thick neck towards her, his teeth making an audible click as he snaps in her direction. Who was she to disturb him? His ears flatten into the tangled mess that is atop his crown. His eyes narrow in suspicion. "Who are you?" He demands.
