"Um, Miss? Are you… all right? "" I heard a voice, a stallion's voice. My heart started pounding and I was filled with anxiety. The flip? How was it possible that a stallion was already with me this quickly?
I heard stories from former herd members that my beauty was irresistible and that's one of the reasons why my deceased mate protected me so much. Well, maybe that was true. I could never figure out who started that silly rumor. One of my theories was a herd mare, but I never could confirm it.
I was too busy leading the herd. And now, I lead no herd. I'm just a depressed lonely mare. I had to see who was talking to me, I looked up and saw a red roan and he was kinda cute and I could my heart slowing down as I felt warmth surrounding me.
What was I doing? I'm already crushing on a stallion that I just met. I really shouldn't be crushing on a strange stallion, I heard too many stories about mares getting their heart broke. Unfortunately, I felt like my heart broke when my mate died. I'll never forget that part when he jumped off that dumb cliff in front of me.
"Uhhh no. I lost my herd and my mate. I had to leave my home, it wasn't safe anymore." I sad sadly. I really shouldn't be crying in front of him, it felt embarrassing. "I've been traveling ever since I left and I just came here. Do you know what this place is called?" I asked hopefully. Replies: There have been no replies.
