I’m one of the few “Boomers” who doesn’t like Alan Alda, and couldn’t stand to watch the TV show “M*A*S*H.” (For what it’s worth, I thought the movie was great, but I always thought the TV show was a repetitious, predictable rip-off.)
I was watching “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” last night. The episode was, “The Morning After,” starring Robert Alda.
Having never been a fan of Alan Alda, I had never heard of Robert Alda. The male lead actor looked a bit like Alan Alda, so I looked it up, and - - Sure enough. Robert was the father of Alan.
“The Morning After” episode was a good, well-acted show, but it didn’t change my opinion of Alan Alda or the M*A*S*H television show.
