Again, whats the problem with Alford, not that I watch mornings at all.
The only joke I can think of about anchors is that studio lights tend to burn the humility right out of most of them.
I'm s surprised Jim doesn't trash all of ghem, for if ya think Radio people "Rip and Read" thats' nothing like TV anchors who don't even get to rip. Somebody else even feeds the TeleprompTer! Radio people at least have to do police check calls, do phoner interviews, etc.
Many anchors have only done just enough reporting produced by the promotion department to create the illusion they're actually journalists instead of performers.
Most are only experts in gladhanding, fholding their hands on set and working on their make up and managing their clothing allowances. Not all of course but lots have never worked outside the station itself.
Was that Alford's problem or did he just make more money than you did for a couple hours work a day for way more money than you made? Replies:
