As a commissioned officer, his poor judgement is not what the USMC need in a Lt Colonel. There are many LtCols to replace him. He shoulld be found guilty for conduct unbecomming an officer of Marines, and a removal of his commission , and given an adminstrative discarge, with no benefits of retirement. I woud not be comfortable with him in my unit as he indicates a sign of poor self - discipline and judgement The Special Court has many options depending on the charge.
