Just callin your attention the Ike Republican days...when corporations and the wealthy were paying something like 70 pct income tax at the highest levels with few shelters.
in those days, Ike funded the cold war agaisnt the russians and built an interstate highway network that we use today, every day!
We make choices with our votes. Give the money to the superwealthy who couldn't spend their vast wealth if they tried, to the Military Industrial Complex Ike warned us about, or pour it into the economy and make this a nation with safety nets, without wants, and in another decade put a man on the moon.
