Dunno who you are, for there are smart people and ignorant people at TV stations.
But I see a lot of commercials directed specificially towards us grayhairs. If you don't, then you don't watch much television!
Maybe a lot of affilate TV is targeting 20 somethings, based on the age of the models in commercials and the age of the people in situation comedies often found on the 4 networks.
But I'm older so I watch a lot of news, rarely watch affiliate network shows and almost never local news unless its raining like hell outside.
And even then, I'm on 9's radar site to see how long its gonna last overhead. After all, having watched meteorological lectures every night for 60 years, I'm getting pretty good at predicting if the sky's gonna fall on my head.
That aside, todays young people seem to be running lots of media at least in lower management. And we've all been young so we know that we never believed anyone older than us is even remotely relevant in our world.
Boomers havae been thinkign that way since we were in Kindergarten, and we just added a year each time we had a birthday.
This is nothing new.

Jim will probably jump me for spending 2 minutes on Google to find that quote and paste it in here. If he says I'm too old to remember such things, he's right.
But I don't need to know. I just need to remember how to find Google's search engine.
