There was a time when N.asa was sure she'd wander forever. That she would forever be beyond to a restless soul, but the more she encountered Bjorn, the harder it became to continue that kind of life. In truth, she wandered out of fear of comfort. She wandered because she didn't want to address her own traumas and as she grew older, she knew it was time to put them to bed. She may never recover from the loss of her Lily or her family, but she could make these new memories with Bjorn and his home. Though her body ached for the sun upon her back and sand below her feet, she could grow to love the serene mountainscapes of Tinuvel. It was true the winters more frigid, and the waters were colder, but she knew in her heart that this is where she belonged.
As Bjorn presses his muzzle to her temperate skin, she feels a shiver. She never knew he would have such a physical effect on her. She closes her eyes in relish of his touch, her pulse slowly and her mind quieting to the closeness of him. It was true, she owed him no apology for her behavior, for her fear, but she felt she owed it to him to try. As Diana pulls away, her small milk stained muzzle trails under N.asa's tender belly. The graphite colored filly peeks below her mother, long lashes framing bright eyes. A small bleat escapes her as she reaches for Bjorn in curiosity. N.asa curves her slender neck to nudge the little filly gently. "Little Diana, this is Bjorn. She says gently. Diana offers no words, only blind curiosity under her newfound teetering legs. She wobbles forward bumping gently into Bjorn in her quest of exploration. "She must get this curiosity from you. N.asa teases. |
